New Delhi: Indian Unique Identification Authority (UIDAI) has introduced a new QR code for e-base.
In this QR code, now there will also be photo along with the demographic information of the holder. The issuing authority has said in a statement that it has started the new QR code instead of the existing QR code on e-base.
In this QR code, now the base will also have a photograph of any indigenous demographic figure. To make offline verification of any indigenous, UIDAI has now made a new update on E basis.
New code verification will be easy:
So far, this code contained only information related to the holder. The new code will also have its photo. Let us know, QR code is a form of barcode label. The machine can read hidden information in it. The e-base is an electronic version of a special number of 12 digits which can be downloaded from the UIDAI website. Ajay Bhushan Pandey, CEO of UIDAI, says that this is a simple offline mechanism, which will soon verify the reality of a Aadhar card.

Authorities say that institutions such as banks can now also get verification of Aadhaar card offline. They say that there will also be a photo on e-base, so it will be easy to identify that the identifier card is the only card.

The e-base QR code reader software is available on the website of Nodal Body from 27 March 2018. According to sources, this option of offline verification will be available to another option and it will be ensured that the Aadhaar card holder is not denied any facility related to the basis.
